Study to show thyself approved…2 Tim 2:15
Consider this your invitation to study with me this fall. You will find opportunities below and should you have questions, please contact me. If you plan to join us, let me know in the comments so I will know to expect you. Furthermore, if you are unable to study with me, please participate in some other Bible study. We best study the scriptures as a faith community.
2024 Fall Studies
Sunday Evenings
Women in the Church
Sunday evenings, beginning September 8th, 5-6:30 p.m, fellowship hall: We will have six weeks of study sessions to explore the role of women in the church. Our primary resource will be the book “Women in the Church” by Andreas Kostenberger and Thomas Schreiner, along with the Danvers Statement and local church traditions. Book purchase is optional. Each session will include a presentation followed by group discussions. Women in the church is a significant topic, and I plan to handle it in a way that honors God and his Word. I hold my position with boldness, but I recognize that there are good Christian women with differing views and opinions.
