Engage in Spiritual Growth and Biblical Understanding at Women’s Workshop and Fall Studies

I’m looking at my fall calendar today and thought I would share ways you can engage in spiritual growth and biblical understanding. Mark your calendar for Sunday and Wednesday evenings this fall when you can participate in two things on my “bucket list.”

August 3rd will be your last opportunity to attend a workshop for 2024! The workshop will cover spiritual rhythms that shape the Christian life. Learners can enjoy six breakout session teachers and I will have the pleasure to teach the opening and closing sessions for the day.

I am eagerly looking forward to leading Wednesday night and Sunday night studies. If you haven’t had the opportunity to join me, I warmly invite you to mark your calendars for two upcoming sessions. We will be exploring a fascinating topic and a book of the Bible, “Women in the Church” and “Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians .” I am excited to teach!

On a side note, I’m still writing. I’m taking my time while enjoying the process. Subscribers to my newsletter will receive an update next week. If you’re not a subscriber yet, you can sign up on my website to stay updated.

Fall Studies

Women in the Church

Sunday evenings – Eight weeks of study exploring the role of women in the church. Our primary resource will be “Women in the Church” by Andreas Kostenberger and Thomas Schreiner coupled with the Danver’s Statement and local church traditions.

This is a hot topic that I plan to cover in a way that will bring honor to God and his Word. I stand on my position with boldness, however, I understand that there are good Christian women who have differing views and opinions. Purchasing a book is optional. Bring your Bible and something for note taking.

Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians

Wednesday evenings – Eight weeks of inductive study will include background, authorship, and theological themes. This study will require some advance reading. Women are encouraged to purchase the Christ-Centered Exposition commentary. A binder or folder for note taking, a Bible of any translation, Bible helps (maps, handbooks, etc.) will also be helpful.

Note: Ephesians will pick back up in January.
