Many people see Christianity as a life defined by checklists, rules, and constant attempts to measure up. Even among believers, there can be an unspoken tendency to live each day striving to meet what we assume are God’s standards, as though faith were built on performance. Yet the God revealed in Scripture offers something profoundly different. Through Christ, He calls His people into freedom.
When we abide in Christ, we discover that the Christian life is not sustained by striving but by grace. The Holy Spirit works within us, shaping our desires and empowering our obedience. As a result, obedience is no longer driven by fear or bondage, but by gratitude for the love and forgiveness we have received.
This freedom begins when we understand the heart of the gospel. Salvation is not earned but received through repentance and faith as we confess our sin and trust that Jesus is Lord. The foundation of the Christian life is not our performance but Christ’s finished work on the cross. We come to God as sinners, guilty and unclean, unable to rescue ourselves. Yet through the atoning blood of Jesus, we are forgiven, restored, and set free.
The Freedom Series is written to help Christian women rediscover and live in this gospel freedom. The series will be released in 2026 as four books addressing some of the most common spiritual struggles women face. Each book explores a different challenge through the lens of Scripture, pointing readers back to the hope, forgiveness, and freedom found in Christ.
The first book in the series, The Accusing Memory and the Freedom of the Gospel, is now available on Amazon. It speaks to the heavy burden many believers carry when memories of past sins resurface with guilt and shame. Through biblical truth and gospel centered reflection, the book reminds readers that in Christ our sins are forgiven, our past is redeemed, and true freedom is possible.
