Hang With Me!

The five-day devotional series Passing on the Encouragement I’ve Been Given has concluded, but please continue to follow along. Hang with me!

As a matter of update, the five-day devotional was popular. Thank you for your feedback, and I will keep you posted on plans. Post-surgery is not a time to make crucial decisions. And I still have ideas rolling around in my head.

My service to the Lord is split between teaching in my local church and counseling, discipleship, mentoring, and writing in my home. On rare occasions, I have had a meeting (with a Bible in hand) at a local coffee shop. I’ve also looked down and had my Bible in my basket at T.J. Maxx. Habits are hard to break at 63 years of age. If, like me, you love the Word and the better Word, Jesus Christ, you are in the right place!

There are over 200 blog posts for readers to search. Put in a category of interest in the search bar, and it should pull up titles for you. My blog writing has become an assortment of personal observations, ministry updates, Bible study notes, the “how to” of discipleship, mentoring, evangelism, and a bonus of theological articles.

You will find a bent toward biblical counseling and a love for the local church at the root of every way I serve. Also, I encourage women to read wisely, think deeply, and live biblically; these standards are evident in every area of my ministry.

Please use the tabs at the top of this blog post and explore the pages. Many are resources I return to time and again in teaching or counseling settings. Most popular are the printable Bible bookmarks with Christological (Christ-centered) questions to ask of any passage of the Bible. These questions make for an excellent quiet time tool.

You will always find a blue share button at the bottom of each post to make sharing with friends on social media easier. I encourage you to keep checking your mailbox, where you will hear from me. Sometimes, my communication goes to spam or promotions, so if it’s been a while, look there.

If you still need to subscribe by email, do so now. Occasionally, I’ll share subscriber-only content that won’t be posted on my personal Facebook wall. To stay updated, enter your email address in the rectangular subscription box at the bottom of the page on your mobile device. Please note that you can only subscribe once.

In the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing some notes on Habakkuk, the Bible book our group of ladies is studying this semester. If you’re local, I invite you to join us in person. Feel free to contact me for more details.
